Since his training days, whenever he had the time, Iida would visit antique shops to study tableware. What he values most is "harmony between food and tableware." He pairs masterpieces by Rosanjin and Eiraku with delicate dishes that are in tune with the times and are conscious of tea ceremony and kaiseki. Sometimes he adds variety to the course by mixing in Taisho-era glass and tableware by contemporary artists. Rather than viewing them as works of art, we hope you will enjoy the valuable experience of experiencing the depth of Japanese culture through food.

The Sukiya-style house that Iida fell in love with was originally a tea ceremony utensil shop built in the early Showa period. Apart from the counter and kitchen, the restaurant has been left almost untouched, and welcomes guests in a style close to the original. As you enter the spacious entrance hall, you will find counter seating and a beautifully maintained courtyard garden, and at the back of the hallway is a four-and-a-half-tatami room. The lighting, sound, and even the passage of the wind have all been carefully calculated, giving the restaurant the feel of a long-established establishment dating back to the Taisho period. The dignified atmosphere fills the soul.
