とらふく(寅福、本当は「ぐ」ではないようです)の水揚げ地、下関の方々にとっても憧れであるらしいこちら。
歴史・伝統を感じずにはいられない佇まい・雰囲気のお店で、期待大で食事を頂きましたが、期待を遥かに上回る、一生の記憶に残るような美味さでした!
中でもふく刺しが素晴らしく、端の方は厚く・中心に近づくほど薄くカットされていましたが、このように切れる料理人の方は下関に2人しかいないもよう。もはや職人芸の域。シーズン真っ只中の天然とらふくそのものが美味しいのはもちろん、このカットがあってこその、口の中でひろがる美味さなんだと思います。
お酒(骨酒が特に良かった…)を含む他料理も全て絶品でしたが、とにかくふく刺しが最高でした!
